WITH us

Welcome to all aspiring, novice and expert gardeners! The Beaverton Garden Club & Horticultural Society (BGC) is a volunteer run, non-profit organization and a member of the Ontario Horticultural Association (District 17).  We are located in Beaverton, Ontario, CANADA!  At our 2021 AGM, members voted to "nickname" our society as the Beaverton Garden Club (BGC), however, the Beaverton Horticultural Society will still remain as our legal name as required by OMAFRA.

Hope you will be able to join us on Thursday September 26 for our next meeting and workshop to create a foraged fall wreath/centrepiece with Elysia Harvey, owner of Emerald Grove Designs.  Pre-registration is required.  Cost is $20 for members and $35 for non-members.

Other great events we have planned this year:

  • October 24, 2024 - Designing Great Plant Combinations presented by Evelyn Wolf.

  • November 14, 2024 - Dinner and Holiday Design Demonstration with Beau and Sandy Wasiluk owners of Blooms on the Go, Beaverton

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS YEAR TO FILL VACANT BOARD & COMMITTEE POSITIONS, AND TO HELP WITH COMMUNITY/CIVIC GARDEN MAINTENANCE.

Explore our web site (Note:  Some sections still under development).  Join the growing Beaverton Garden Club community.
