Welcome to all aspiring, novice and expert gardeners! The Beaverton Garden Club & Horticultural Society (BGC) is a volunteer run, non-profit organization and a member of the Ontario Horticultural Association (District 17).  We are located in Beaverton, Ontario, CANADA!  At our 2021 AGM, members voted to "nickname" our society as the Beaverton Garden Club (BGC), however, the Beaverton Horticultural Society will still remain as our legal name as required by OMAFRA.

The gardening season is in full swing!  What are your gardening plans for this year? A successful BGC plant sale was held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the Beaverton Curling Club.  Thank you to all those members that donated plants, including Planet Pals.

Other great events we have planned this year:

  • June 27, 2024 - Water: Nature's Stress Relief, speaker Denis Orendt, owner of Blue Frog Water Gardens

  • September 26, 2024 - Foraged Fall Wreath Design Workshop with Elysia Harvey owner of Emerald Grove Designs. Pre-registration required (available soon).

  • October 24, 2024 - Designing Great Plant Combinations presented by Evelyn Wolf.

  • November 14, 2024 - Dinner and Holiday Design Demonstration with Beau and Sandy Wasiluk owners of Blooms on the Go, Beaverton

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED THIS YEAR TO FILL VACANT BOARD & COMMITTEE POSITIONS, AND TO HELP WITH COMMUNITY/CIVIC GARDEN MAINTENANCE.

Explore our web site (Note:  Some sections still under development).  Join the growing Beaverton Garden Club community.
